The activities of the Legado Foundation are framed within the National Plan to Combat Chronic Child Malnutrition by developing solutions to the multiple causes that affect children's development, so our activities are complemented by other projects that support the reduction of child malnutrition rates.
Through the project management model implemented by the Legado Foundation, we have not only contributed to the implementation of projects in alliances, but the methodology of institutional "minga" work (teamwork in the Kichwa language) has shown that teamwork between different sectors of society has an effective result in the appropriate use of resources to create an efficient model of investment in projects of social interest.
We have established cooperation agreements with the participation of the government, local authorities, and the people of the communities, designing projects to solve priority problems with the participation of counterpart resources from public and private entities, including non-governmental and non-profit organizations.
The community participates and is involved in the search and implementation of sustainable solutions, promoting a culture of solidarity, harmonious coexistence and respect for the environment and its natural surroundings. We strive to set measurable, achievable and realistic goals for our projects to ensure their longevity and sustainability.
